I saw this article on the BBC News website this morning. I tend to wonder where these people get their funding from! As I read through the article and the novelty wore off I now find myself to agree with Jacqui Lowdon, who makes the point that she would ‘rather give people their 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day’. I definitely agree that it ‘isn’t teaching people health eating’. The phrase ‘only in America’ comes to mind…….
Our company had an (almost) full page article in the Financial Times today - my boss is very excited about it all. Especially seeing as the article is based around him. I can imagine he will take a copy home to admire and cherish it. Bless.
Feeling very tired this morning BUT there are so many good things already about this morning and today to cancel that out… and of course it always helps being the optimist (the path I have chosen for today).

It wasn’t dark when I got out of bed this morning - hoorah!
The sun is shining (again).
I had time to sit and enjoy my breakfast.
I had a seat on the train.
Someone made me a cup of tea and it tastes great.
I have a three day weekend ahead.

Isn’t it? A moan about South Eastern trains that is. Feels like I haven’t had one in a while….I was on the train for almost a whole hour this morning - for a journey that usually takes half that time at the most. Not good, also no explanation and no apology from the driver or when we arrived at the destination. Tch. Buuut, the sun is shining again horrah!
This is the thirs day that we have been back now from our week long holiday to the gorgeous south coast of Spain. We stayed in a lovely villa, high up a steep hill/mountain(?) in a village called Torrox - closest town was Nerja. Was raaaather nice actually, had lots of fun with our two italian friends, was relaxing and peaceful, active, gorgeous weather.. all you can ask for. It already feels like so long ago that we were there. I quite like getting back to normality though - tis all good. Took lots of pictures and we visited lots of different places - from what I can remember, Nerja, Granada, Gibralta, Malaga, Marbella so that was great being able to visit all the different places seeing the life there appreciating the beauty. We got the chance to have dinner with Daniel’s cousin and his wife in Marbella - oh to live there….(everyone would have to come along though - of course!!) Such a different life they lead - they seem very happy though. But yes, lots of good memories to be stored now. Happy times. It certainly makes it so much easier to get back into things here when the sun is shining so gloriously like it has been for last however many days - it’s great! Can’t wait for the sun to officially arrive and summer to start. So much fun. Though saying that - that means that I would be nearer to having a baby.. eeeks! Maybe I won’t wish the time away so much, just let the sun linger on as it has been doing so. Anyhoo, could ramble on about such things but I shan’t.
Joey find his identical hand twin. I can’t even remember how I got it in my head, but last night I started singing the hand twin song from Friends. Where they all go to Las Vegas to visit Joey but he needs to find some funds for his big break film that has lost all its money or didn’t have any in the first place…moving on he thinks the blackjack dealer at the casino he is working at is his identical hand twin. He even makes up a song:

Classic. Until you can’t get it out of your head! Aaaaanyway, happy times as it’s finally Friday today woo! No boss in work today woo! (it just makes it sooo much easier t-hee).
