A little bit of Louly

So yes, I may well be taking ages with learning how to drive and yes I have now passed the year mark and yesterday I did take my 52nd lesson - But no more laughing at me people, no more silly little comments I cannie take it no more! Tis no funny. I had a great lesson last night, I can drive! All is well with that - the reason for my delay now is that I kind of might of missed the minor important task of taking my theory test, which you obviously need to do before your practical. Aaaanyway, I will get there some time soon and then I will be a brilliant driver with lots of experience-ha! Back to the great lesson last night, it was alll going so well, I did a test route with my instructor and practised all the manoeuvres then was on my jolly way home completely satisfied with my efforts. Approached a mini roundabout no other cars to my right (to give way to) I checked, checked again went to go then some silly billy trilly man came hurtling across - must have been at 30mph - and cursed his way through my path - I mean hello!! Thanks to my speedy footwork there wasn’t a side-on crash but I’ll tell you it wasn’t a nice experience. Stooopid man, there was actually someone to his right as well - now that wouldn’t have been very pretty, thanks to their quick thinking they didn’t go either. Sheesh kebabs. Went out shopping to Tesco’s for food after dinner, noticed Mr Snail trailing along the path with one or two of his pals. Came back about an hour later and counted 87 snails trailing our path - how exciting!

When Wimbledon has started because the rains begins! The sun is hiding and the rain clouds cover our skies - its inevitable!

Mmmm, I just had a banoffee pie from the sandwich shop EAT It was D-E-licious!

A 92 year old set a world record yesterday when she became the oldest person to abseil, Doris Long lowered herself down a 67m high office block in Portsmouth. Go Granny Go! Hopefully I will be that much alive when I reach that age.

It’s a shame it’s not mind blowing - maybe I will save something like that for another day. I haven’t blogged in a while so thought I would. I have some days where I sit there and notice something and think oohh, I’ll blog something about that. Geek. You all do it, I know you do. Anyway, I was sitting on the train this morning and this woman for some reason felt the need to blow her nose literally every 25 seconds (it was about that on average as she did it so much during the journey I ended up counting the intermission of each). It was like when you are looking at something and you notice something about it - and then that’s all you can look at instead of the original thing you wanted to be looking at! I dunno the craziness, she didn’t even have a cold so it was dry nose blowing - definetly driving me mad. Buuut, am all better now of course as I have been long gone off that train *Tee hee*
